Large City based Insurance Company requires Qualified Accountant to take responsibility for timely and accurate production of accounting records for management, statutory and regulatory reporting.

Provide accounting services including record keeping, reconciliation and management of the Ledger.

Reconcile relevant technical balances to source as well as analyse movement. Apply appropriate accounting principles for reporting US GAAP and UK GAAP. Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies.

Allocation of expenses to Insurance and Reinsurance segments.

Prepare and report monthly management information of group entities to Group Finance, and respond/resolve any queries from Group Finance, Segment Finance Teams, Tax team, Regulatory Reporting, and other relevant parties.

Prepare and submit group entities quarterly reporting packs to Group Finance.

Liaise with internal and external audit

Plan and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual reporting timetables

Candidates should be Qualified with Insurance experience as well as US and UK GAAP experience.
