Successful London Market Insurance Company requires a Qualified Accountant to Support all aspects of the finance function.
Coordination of reporting of subsidiary offices, including maintenance of month and quarter end close and ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
Coordination of flow of financial information, reporting and other ad hoc requirements.
Management of day to day interaction with other businesses in the Group.
Drive the development of enhanced, real time management reporting initiatives, including a program of constant improvement of processes/ systems
In conjunction with Chief Accounting Officer, oversee group accounting function, ensuring financial procedures are efficient and effective, including reporting and controls systems.
Review of analytical reviews for Group companies.
Detailed review of Group financial supplement and GAAP financial statements.
Oversee the Financial Controllers in their responsibilities with regards to monthly financial close process and general management of finance close team.
Qualified CA, CPA or ACA.
Detailed knowledge and experience of IFRS and US GAAP for insurance accounting. Understanding of Lloyd’s environment
Great Plains knowledge preferred.
