Hugely successful and profitable London market insurance business comprising a Lloyd’s managing agency and insurance company require a part qualified / finalist CIMA or ACCA Management Accountant for a varied role which will ultimately include training for the full production of management accounts for a number of their service company and overseas entities.
Monthly expense trend analysis; Monthly P&L trend analysis; Prepare info for tax computations; Prepare management accounts including journals; bank reconciliations; Prepare statutory accounts; Prepare Budgets; Assist Management Accountant with Solvency II calculations and SII returns to Lloyd’s (QMC/TPD);
Qualifications and experience requirements:
- Part qualified / Finalist ACCA or CIMA (Financial/Management) Accountant with insurance experience – knowledge/Experience of Insurance and Lloyds market (managing agencies, syndicates).
- Some exposure to Solvency II would be desirable but not essential; Management accounts experience.
